Welcome to spheric-collection.com, the site dedicated to multi-channel sound recordings in the format-B. This format, well known as 1st order Ambisonic, was for us a real brainwave. While Ambisonic dates back to the 1970s, it still remains a non-conventional format. It was in 2005, with the first portable system “ST250” from Soundfield, that the first sounds of spheric-collection.com were recorded. Since that date, they have not left our DAW timelines. It has become the ideal format for 5.1 edits, which will grow in the years to come with the evolution of broadcasting in 3D sound (Dolby Atmos, Auro3D, NHK 22.2). All our sounds reflect the sound environment in 3D. Take the lead and some height with spheric-collection.com.
